These prints were reproduced from the forty-two paintings created by Richard Sloan for the "Raptors of Arizona" book edited by Richard L.Glinski, which was published by the University of Arizona and Arizona Fish and Game Department. The original paintings are displayed at Arizona Fish and Game Headquarters in Phoenix Arizona. This edition was printed by Prisma Graphics in Phoenix AZ in 1998 for the Arizona Wildlife Foundation. Each issue, signed and numbered by the artist, is the only artist-authorized printing of this collection. Forty-two birds are featured: each of the 4-color lithographic prints is 13.5 X 18 inches image size, on 17 X 21.75 inches white archival stock. Hawks, vultures, falcons, kites and owls are portrayed in their typical southwestern habitats. Each bird is identified by its common and scientific name. Prints which are signed and numbered, may be purchased in complete sets or individually.
